Acoustic Guitar for Weddings and Events
An acoustic guitarist creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that works perfectly for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours and outdoor events. Our guitarist-singers can also provide vocals, giving you a complete musical act without needing a full band. They can perform your favourite songs and take requests from guests. The acoustic guitar is incredibly versatile, it can handle soft, romantic ballads for a ceremony, upbeat folk and pop for a garden party, and soulful jazz for a cocktail reception. For outdoor weddings in Singapore's beautiful garden venues, the acoustic guitar is the perfect complement, adding a natural, organic quality to the setting.
Singer-Guitarist. Complete Entertainment in One
Our singer-guitarists are among our most popular acts because they deliver a complete musical experience as a single performer. A talented vocalist accompanying themselves on guitar creates an intimate, personal connection with the audience that larger acts sometimes cannot achieve. Our singer-guitarists cover an extensive range of music, from classic singer-songwriter material by artists like John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson and Ed Sheeran to timeless hits by The Beatles, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Eric Clapton. For Singapore audiences, many of our artists also perform Mandarin pop, Malay and Tamil songs. This versatility makes them ideal for multi-cultural events and weddings.
Classical and Fingerstyle Guitar
For events that call for refined, instrumental music, our classical and fingerstyle guitarists deliver sophisticated performances that captivate audiences. Classical guitar repertoire includes works by composers like Bach, Tárrega, Albéniz, Barrios and Villa-Lobos. Fingerstyle guitarists perform intricate arrangements of pop, jazz and film soundtrack pieces that showcase the full range of the instrument. These purely instrumental performances are perfect for formal dinners, art gallery openings, wine tastings and upscale corporate events where the music needs to be tasteful, cultured and unobtrusive.
Electric Guitar and Band Settings
If you are looking for high energy and rock'n'roll attitude, our electric guitarists deliver powerful performances that get the crowd moving. Electric guitarists can perform solo with backing tracks, as part of a duo with a vocalist, or as the lead guitarist in a full band. They cover classic rock, blues, funk, pop-rock and contemporary hits. For product launches, brand activations and party events, an electric guitarist with a dynamic stage presence creates an exciting, memorable experience. We can also provide a guitarist with effects pedals and loop stations for one-man-band performances that sound like a full ensemble.
Restaurant and Hospitality Performances
Acoustic guitarists and singer-guitarists are a popular choice for restaurants, bars, hotels and rooftop venues across Singapore. Regular live music creates a signature ambiance that sets your establishment apart and keeps patrons coming back. Our guitarists are experienced in hospitality settings and understand the importance of volume control, professional presentation and consistent quality. Whether you need a weekly resident performer or a one-off special event act, we can match you with the perfect guitarist. We currently supply regular guitar entertainment to several of Singapore's top dining and nightlife venues.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your guitarist also sing?
Yes, many of our guitarists are also talented vocalists who provide a complete guitar-vocal performance. A singer-guitarist covers a huge range of material and is perfect for events where you want a full musical experience from a single performer.
What styles of guitar do you offer?
Acoustic, classical, electric, fingerstyle, jazz, bossa nova, pop, rock, blues, folk, country and more. Our roster includes specialists in each style, and many of our guitarists are versatile enough to cover multiple genres in a single performance.
Is a guitarist suitable for a small venue?
Absolutely. A solo guitarist is perfect for intimate settings like restaurants, small wedding venues, private dining rooms and boutique hotels. Acoustic guitar is naturally suited to smaller spaces, producing a warm, full sound without needing heavy amplification.
Can a guitarist perform with other musicians?
Yes, guitars pair beautifully with vocals, violin, saxophone, cajon, bass and keyboards. We can arrange duos, trios and full bands with a guitarist at the core. A guitar-vocal-cajon trio is a popular budget-friendly option that delivers big sound from a compact lineup.
Do guitarists bring their own equipment?
Yes, our guitarists bring their own instruments, amplifiers and necessary accessories. For larger venues, we can provide additional PA equipment to ensure the sound carries throughout the space.
How far in advance should I book a guitarist?
We recommend at least two weeks' notice, though popular dates during the wedding season and holiday period may require earlier booking. Contact us to check availability for your preferred date.
What is the cost of hiring a guitarist in Singapore?
Pricing depends on the performance duration, whether vocals are included, the guitar style, and any special requirements. Solo acoustic sets are the most affordable option. Contact us for a personalised quote.
