Versatile Trumpet Performances
The trumpet is one of the most recognisable and exciting instruments in any ensemble. Whether performing solo or alongside a band, a trumpet player brings a bright, powerful sound that cuts through and captures attention. Our trumpet players are experienced in jazz, classical, pop, Latin, funk and soul genres and can adapt their performance to suit the mood of your event. For cocktail receptions, a trumpet playing smooth jazz creates a sophisticated, Gatsby-esque atmosphere. For weddings, a trumpet fanfare announcing the bride and groom's entrance is a thrilling, goosebump-inducing moment. For corporate galas and award ceremonies, a trumpet solo adds drama and prestige to key moments in the programme.
Wedding Trumpet. Grand Entrances and Romantic Melodies
A trumpet at a wedding creates moments of pure drama and emotion. The classic wedding trumpet fanfare, announcing the newlyweds' entrance to the reception, is one of the most exciting moments in any wedding celebration. But the trumpet is equally beautiful for romantic moments: a soft, muted trumpet playing Etta James's At Last during the first dance is achingly beautiful. Our wedding trumpet players can perform during the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the march-in and the reception party. They work solo or alongside a pianist, DJ or full band. Popular wedding trumpet songs include Trumpet Voluntary, the Bridal March, Can't Help Falling in Love, Fly Me to the Moon, and La Vie en Rose.
Jazz Trumpet for Cocktail Events
Nothing says sophistication like a jazz trumpet at a cocktail party. The warm, brassy tones of a trumpet playing Miles Davis, Chet Baker or Louis Armstrong classics instantly create an atmosphere of cool elegance. Our jazz trumpet players perform at hotel lobbies, rooftop bars, wine tastings, art gallery openings and corporate networking events across Singapore. They can play solo with backing tracks, as part of a jazz trio or quartet, or alongside a DJ. The trumpet's bright, projecting sound ensures it carries beautifully in open-air and large indoor spaces without being overpowering. For a truly classic experience, pair a jazz trumpet with a piano and upright bass for the quintessential jazz trio sound.
Corporate and Ceremonial Performances
Trumpets have a long history in ceremonial and official contexts, and that heritage makes them perfect for corporate and government events. A trumpet fanfare can open a conference, announce an award winner, accompany a flag-raising ceremony or mark the launch of a new product. The instrument commands attention instantly, when a trumpet plays, everyone in the room looks up. Our trumpet players have performed at government events, military ceremonies, embassy functions, corporate launches and charity galas across Singapore. They understand the protocol and timing required for these formal occasions and deliver impeccable performances every time.
Ensemble Options. Trumpet with Band
While a solo trumpet is powerful, adding the trumpet to a band or ensemble amplifies the energy exponentially. Our trumpet players work seamlessly within jazz quartets, swing bands, Latin groups, soul/funk bands and full party bands. The trumpet adds a bright, punchy top layer to any ensemble, cutting through the mix with exciting solos and melodic fills. For Latin-themed events, a trumpet is essential, playing salsa, mambo, cha-cha and bossa nova with authentic flair. For soul and funk events, the trumpet joins a horn section with saxophone and trombone for a powerful brass sound. We can arrange any combination to suit your event's musical direction and budget.
